Comparing the slaughter of pigs for food to the Holocaust and the experiences of the millions of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, etc. who were forced through the miserable ordeal, is ridiculously offensive and outrageous. What made you think to compare Holocaust victims with pigs? Because the inmates…

But animals in our society go through the same things Holocaust victims went through - torture and murder. We compare them because we believe that animals are JUST as deserving as humans of a life devoid of cruelty and horror.

You can’t deny the acts each group of victims went through/are going through are the same. So your only qualms are whether or not pigs matter as much as people. Why shouldn’t they? They can experience pain and suffering, and also joy and love. Just like people. Did you know that a pig is as smart as a three-year-old child? Then why is a pig’s experience any different from those of small children killed in the Holocaust?
